so, this is not the grona lund's one?
Not the same thing. Going on a backwards seat on a rollercoaster is also a different experience but not a different cred. Riding one rollercoaster (one piece of hardware) is fundamentally one ride, even if the experience is different next time. However, it can "feel" as a different cred even if it isn't, that I can understand.Different experience = Different cred
yet you doNever said rollbacks make new creds
That equation would turn anything free spinning into unlimited creds as well lolDifferent experience = Different cred
Forums are made for good discussions, and this topic about this type of ride design is the perfect place for a discussion like this. No need to shy away from it in my opinionI'm so glad I don't give a flying **** about credsShall we keep it to the actual ride here?
My reasoning here is if I ride the big orange version of the ride. Then the next day they remove all of the orange track and leave just the green bit before I arrive. Would I say that's the same roller coaster? No I wouldn't.Not the same thing. Going on a backwards seat on a rollercoaster is also a different experience but not a different cred. Got it. So, Raging Bull no mcbr = new cred. The Voyage Holiwood Nights = new cred. Millennium Force in the rain = new cred. See how this doesn't make sense?Different experience = Different cred
Here's the real answer. Who gaf, credits are participation trophies or arcade tokens, no value.I'm so glad I don't give a flying **** about credsShall we keep it to the actual ride here?
You complete the full circuit on both of your examples now don't you silly!Got it. So, Raging Bull no mcbr = new cred. The Voyage Holiwood Nights = new cred. Millennium Force in the rain = new cred. See how this doesn't make sense?
Mmmmm, unlimited creds *drool*unlimited creds
So if u rode racer at kings island backwards and then forwards are u counting that as 2 separate credits? You complete the full circuit on both of your examples now don't you silly!
Weather and trims obviously don't count.
Backwards or spinning seats on a normal train do however change the ride experience.
All of these are examples are nothing like this ride at all.So if u rode racer at kings island backwards and then forwards are u counting that as 2 separate credits?
That’s definitely one credit, this one is very interesting tho, like im not arguing with anyone on this, cuz personally idek what to thinkI feel like this credit debate is a little similar to lift vs launch Lightning Rod. I would count that as one, but I don’t count credits
A logical response at last! All of these are examples are nothing like this ride at all.
This is my thinking of a hypothetical but possible situation.
You visit and ride just the adult coaster version, the ride then breaks down for the rest of the day.
are you saying you completely have the credit?
If so, let's say you return years later and they've removed the adult section completely and just left the junior section, are you still saying you have the credit?
If not then I'd say it's 2 credits.
If yes, that's fine. It would be really weird to me and no way I'd count it like that. But it's a valid opinion.
There's also the option of 1/2 credits that some people use on Mobius coasters, but no way I'm having .5 credits on my count
