Walygazette interviewed management of both Walygator parks and here is what came out:
- They confirmed the move of Speed No Limit to Walygator Sud-Ouest. They are "exploring" moving Megafobia to that park as well, but no current plan due to the technical challenge they say.
- Walygator...
Over at Nigloland in France, the Gelis family who owns the park used to be fairground ride operators and in the museum inside the park, you have this model. R2000 was an odd triangular shaped track coaster from Mack that appears to be the successor to Meteor.
I visited one of those Trans Studio Mini in Surabaya and it was quite a fascinating place. Picture if you took your large hypermart like Carrefour or a Wal Mart Supercentre. Build it on 4 levels, with the food court on the ground, supermarket on the second, fresh food and department store on the...

I think this article seals the fate of Speed: No Limit from Oakwood. Sylvain Chatain (director of both Walygator parks in France, part of the Aspro Group)...
It looks like a straight rebuild with a new train of the old layout. I wonder if they reused any footers? Vekoma/Senyo-Kogyo had delivered the original one back then, with the park modifying the lap bar per row with two "foam logs" of different sizes. Attached is a photo of the old train. Now...
Close, but no. The original Space Shot prototypes opened in 1995 at a FEC in Wisconsin Dells and at the Reino Aventura amusement park in Mexico City. Those only had 2 seats per side (8 seats total) and used Arrow restraints. In 1996, S&S refined the concept further and launched the 12 (Worlds of...
Futuroscope spoke about their future projects today and the most interesting is "The Race". If I translate the quote in the photo: "The Race" project will be a new roller coaster, where guests will "be suspended in a motorcycle position". This reminds me of the Vekoma Thrill Glider concept that...
Things improved with the ride compared to what I had heard, as the ride soft opened a few days ago, with missing effects. The first POV of the ride was just posted here, with a spoiler tag.
Boomerang at La Ronde reopened today with its Vekoma upgrades. Beside the obvious new mk-1212 train, the station was redone with a new roof and flooring. Magnetic brakes in the station were also installed and the top half of the vertical loop replaced.
Anaconda is getting a replacement Morgan style train. The steel frames were made by a local french company and the new fiberglass shells by Reverchon. The park general manager in a Q&A in french a few weeks ago mentioned that adding any other style of train to the ride would have caused too...
Wild Train at Parc Saint-Paul was scrapped this week, as seen on this TikTok video: Wild Train removal.
I am not shocked, as the park was taken over by Looping Group and they have a major cleanup job to do there. The Pax Drop Tower was already removed prior to this season and was to be replaced...

Compagnie des Alpes just announced that Belantis amusement park in eastern Germany was purchased from Parque Reunidos. It is a return for...

According to this local news site, the ride will also feature a 40-meter-long tunnel.
