Really useful info @uwurawrus thank you so much.
I was leaning towards the metro & bus, so I think that's definitely what I'll do now.

From the looks of it the car parking is very very unfinishedAm I gathering from this thread correctly that at this park you can't park directly outside the park itself or be taken directly to a gate, instead you always have to take a shuttle bus at one point entering/exiting the park? Interesting. I wonder why that is?
Would also be interested to know what the driving options for the park are. Tempted to hire a car regardless, for general use over the weekend as well as the park, but not sure if it's worth the effort driving to the park versus the public transport (metro+shuttle) option.
From what I can gather, the metro stops running at ~midnight? Was this an issue if you were in the park until closing? Especially on the days when the park is open until 1am? Do the shuttles still run that late too? How did you get on with this @uwurawrus?
If parking, what's the deal? Is parking free, and convenient (or is there a car park shuttle required also)? Perhaps @HeartlineCoaster can share some experience?
Not phased much about driving in Saudi - just don't want to get stuck in a load of unnecessary logistical hassle.
I hired a car and wouldn't recommend it. Driving in Saudi in unpleasant to say the least, and I have over 20 years driving experience.Would also be interested to know what the driving options for the park are. Free parking, with a 5-10min shuttle. There's no other way in as you're parking in the middle of the much larger resort still under construction, at a transport hub and welcome centre. As of opening, there were swarms of proper seated coaches available at all times of operation.Would also be interested to know what the driving options for the park are. I think this is the most up to date information, on the SFQC Facebook page
From this website: https://www.visitsaudi.com/en/riyadh/stories/riyadh-metro, but also referenced on their official Facebook and X pages. Maybe a bit of joined up thinking needed there...The Riyadh Metro operates daily, from 6:00 AM to 12:00 midnight, Saturday to Thursday, and from 8:00 AM to 12:00 midnight on Fridays.
Out of interest, how long is the bus ride?
does the bus come and collect you from the waiting room or is there a stop you need to walk to at the correct time?I don't think the metro situation is too bad when Ubers from within the city are fairly cheapish. Still though, kinda sucks...
I don't understand how a fully driverless metro isn't 24 hours. Same in Dubai. It's a city that comes alive at night. The amount of nightlife there, the streets are packed past 12! No idea why the metro doesn't run past then. I think the hours might be slightly later during Ramadan, so next month? We'll see.
It's about 40-50 minutes. Free WiFi, water and toilet facilities are provided on the buses. They're very fancy.
I was collected from the waiting room! Was very quiet in there, no idea if it gets busier later on...does the bus come and collect you from the waiting room or is there a stop you need to walk to at the correct time?
will hopefully get on the first bus at 3 as long as it's not completely full, did they run fairly on schedule ?I was collected from the waiting room! Was very quiet in there, no idea if it gets busier later on...
The bus doesn't stop directly outside, but the waiting room is staffed, so I'm sure they'll be able to tell you.
Am I right in thinking that the bus takes you straight to the park entrance and not to the ‘visitor hub’ with the car park buses?

Sounds like they’ve changed it then, it was still showing as unlimited rides on falcons flight on Tuesday . Certainly for the best judging by reports . Hoping they still honour unlimited on the one I bought last monthWell, I've been in touch with Six Flags Qiddiya's social media page on Instagram and this is the info they have on their Go-Fast passes that can only be bought in the park :
Available categories:
Unlimited Gold:
Weekdays: SAR 310 | Weekends: SAR 430
Unlimited access to all rides + one-time access to Falcon’s Flight
Unlimited Silver:
Weekdays: SAR 240 | Weekends: SAR 340
Unlimited access to all rides except Falcon’s Flight

So if anyone has already bought the level of fast pass above, they are still honouring unlimited rides on falcons. The gold and silver will apply going forwards.Sounds like they’ve changed it then, it was still showing as unlimited rides on falcons flight on Tuesday . Certainly for the best judging by reports .
