Scream Break

So, to Magic Mountain thoosies that have experienced Scream Break before: how much does the park actually get overhauled for it?
It's coming to Carowinds this year, but I have no idea as to what extent it goes to (i.e. Scare Zones, number of scare houses) so if you don't mind sharing your experiences from years past, that would be awesome.

At SFMM, there's a backstage area with 3 mazes in one single location, so everything was basically concentrated to that section of the park. including a single scare zone. In the following year, they did also include the Saw maze, which was on the entire opposite end of the park, but there was no other theming getting there.

Despite the limited number of mazes, it was the vibe and scareators that really made the event. It was a totally different tone than Fright Fest. The scare actors were very, very interactive and hilarious. In fact, this was the event that has now given us our main scream queen, Margo Rita, that is the main host of Fright Fest even now and has her own show.

Also, they took one of the "classic" haunted house mazes and turned it into a zombie-fied frat house vibe, with partying college zombies, and added red solo cups, strung up Christmas lights, and played house music. It was so popular, they did it again for Fright Fest later that year (though once Scream Break was canceled, it did go back to its more traditional role).
