S&S RailRyder (Revived SteepleChase Model)

This seems like almost a blend between RMC Raptors and those Maurer powered nightmares in style. This looks super fun, actually! properly straddling the track with your legs on the sides of the track will definitely be a unique sensation, in that sense (at least with that train option) it's nothing like the classic steeplechase where you're fully above the narrow track.

For those taking count:

RMC raptors
Skyline Trailblazers
Skyline Psgehetti
SnS RailRyder
Muerer Spike
Intamin Hot Racer
Pax cobra sketchy thing
The original SnS steeple chase concept
Skyline Horizon/spacewalk
Mountain coaster (idk Wiegand?)
RMC T Rex
Whatever the hell Donkey Kong is

Any single rail concept seems cursed at this point.

That looks really fun actually and could provide a sensation center of gravity wise only really achievable on Maurer spike coaster rn, except you know, not a weird powered coaster.

So no rumor just my 2 cents-
I have been thinking about this since they first started building it-
I think THIS exact model is already planned to go to park somewhere. All the other "prototypes" on the lot are bare-bare-Bare Bones! No paint no strong structural supports. And this puppy has full support system, full paint job, and a layout that can fit most parks, tomorrow. But for the life of me, outside of Kentucky Kingdom, I cannot really think who would get this? Anyone got any ideas?

Almost certainly correct. It will probably head somewhere.

I guess there's a small chance they decided painting it would look better to potential buyers but I suspect it already has a buyer.

Could be the US but if I was to make a left field call I'd go with the redevelopment of Shanghai Happy Valley as a possibility

To my knowledge, they told ACE in January that the intention was there to fully build and prepare a prototype that could only then be relocated for a buyer, they didn't make it seem like they'd already sold it. Whether that was already the case or they've since found a buyer, I don't know.

I know SBF Visa usually likes to set up their larger coasters at the factory for commissioning before shipping out, typically they won't paint the supports but usually the track itself sees some paint. Also don't know their scale of "build and then sell" for these non-cookie cutter attractions, but maybe presentation matters I guess.

The layout certainly looks a lot better than that of Steeplechase at Blackpool, if this is supposed to be a spiritual successor to the Arrow Steeplechase!

My main hope is that the restraint design is also drastically improved. One thing that kills Steeplechase is that the riding position and restraint style is fundamentally hideously uncomfortable; if S&S have improved the restraints, I imagine this could be quite a fun addition for a smaller park!
