Haven't played either but the one I'd rather play is an absolute no brainer- MGS5. From what Ive seen and heard from YouTubers, Rainbow Six Siege has no game modes with respawn and gets boring quite fast. In addition there is no single player story so its really not worth $60 (in the UK it will be £50).

I played the latest MGS (the one both Sony and MS gave away free) a bit.
I hate MGS. I've tried every one and never liked them. I loved that one and Phantom Pain is an expansion on that.
So I'd say Phantom Pain because it's the first MGS game I actually want to play and know I'll enjoy.
