I think my issue is that it’s another shuttle coaster, after they have just opened one. Isn’t this supposed to be one of the biggest/busiest six flags? Throughput is going to be atrocious.
I meant clear out the warehouse of the old tech, get rid of the old massive simulator in there, would be a great space for a coaster show building, the ride could go in and out of it, using the space behind the warehouse too.
And the old Steampunk/aquatic theme is still a pretty cool one, I’d...
Polynesia has that huge warehouse with the simulator inside, clear that out and it has some significant space, and they can reuse the old queueline as it was very well themed. I do hope they keep it away from the main thoroughfare though to keep it secluded.
Also, should this thread not be in...
It rings a bell, I do remember reading somewhere that it was a key thing that B&M had to work on before they could offer rides over a certain height, and Leviathan uses that stronger chain.
I believe it’d be impossible, as they attached the wild mouse to a number it’s supports. Unless of course they are rebuilding those supports from scratch, they did say there would be slight tweaks to it’s layout.
It’s not even the good version of the ride from Disneysea 😭
I mean I guess it’s good they’re building basically half a new park (or at least the foundations of one) but it’s years away from being anything exciting post Lion King.
But saying that, I can still see it being successful, from my...
Those houses that back onto Phantasialand have to be up there. Their gardens basically overlook the Wakobato lake and are the reason they turned the water off guns off on that ride.
While it isn’t the most unique layout in the world, can we take a minute to appreciate the insane headchopper it has over the second drop! Plus the cutback framing the drop is exquisitely placed. It may not be unique but it is very well designed.
The first half of the layout looks good, weak finish though, shows the company is still naive to more complex designing.
There’s only so much they can copy before their lack of experience and history with these kind of things show.
I’m unconvinced how Lord of the Rings could be made into a convincing area. Everything beautiful in LotR is on a vast scale that could not be replicated in a theme park realistically.
Could they not experiment with faster running rolling stock?
Forgive my basic understanding of wheels, but arn’t there different compositions they can use in the wheels to affect their friction etc?
It’s not the narrative, it’s the whole theme. Forbidden Valley has been turned into X Sector part 2. Gone is the rust and decay, the bone and the sinew, to be replaced by Black and Red. X Sector was all about Black and one single other colour. Oblivion; black and Orange. Smiler; black and...
I hope they add theming to it. Talocan is only as popular and viral as it is cuz it has the amazing theming. I wonder if they’ll even bother with water fountains here.
