I think that the park is probably spending wisely tbf.
There are two types of parks, ones with a load of permanent rides, that age, usually have big initial impact, but then the value reduces over time. Then there are the more seaside type parks that rely on swapping things out frequently.
If...
What I'd add mind is that some of the more recently added 'family rides' added across the UK are actually some of the most fun (and least painful) - spinning racer, storm chaser, and gold rush are all rides I enjoyed more than some of the big new ones.
The likes of Hyperia and Nemesis Reborn...
Just looking at the stats, and the wheel is about 10ft taller than the previous one. Having seen what Paultons have done with valguard, detail is all, and while it's not a new rollercoaster, giving that area some identity is a really decent start.

Paultons are a European park operating in the UK. Most other parks in the uk ape American parks.
I think what Paultons has done has offered a window into another, sustainable way to do things.

The spinning coaster had some...

It must surely to be possible for the same type of rules that allows country parks to erect rides temporarily, and then in theory retrospectively ask for permission for permanentcy.

17 pound for off peak, 27 quid peak season. Anyone know what that is like against the past? I think it used to be 14 quid pp, so I wonder if that is reflective of what's coming?

Merlin have shown how badly maintained rides shift perspectives, and if what they have done with FI is made the place run, then fair play I say.
I had, despite being a theme park fan never bothered to visit either FI or Paultons, thinking there would be nothing for me, and in both cases I was...
