Tivoli Gardens | Various | 3 new rides | 2026-2030

Idk if they’re supplying both rides but SBF Visa’s contribution has been a new plexiglass Rotor underneath Daemonen;

If they can make the access ramp less tacky, this would be a great fit and these rides are as fun as you make them. They’re really compact, easy to operate, and can fit a deceptively large amount of riders. Spectators have the cool visual of seeing people glued to the walls as well.

Woah!! That's a really cool addition. I honestly thought somehow that since Vertigo's been gone for so long that it'd already been replaced with something else but maybe an empty plot is unnoticeable at Tivoli since it's so tightly packed.

And happily the fear from the first page of the thread about an SBF coaster turned out to be unfounded, so they'll open two smaller family rides from SBF under Dæmonen. The rotor and the whatever else.

Tivoli has confirmed that their new Japan-themed area, Hikari (”light”), will open ”late summer”. It’ll come with five new restaurants and two new attractions — Hotel Hikari, described as a ”family-friendly immersive exeperience”, and Tyfonens Øje (”Eye of the Typhoon”), described as an ”intense thrill ride”. Daemonen has also seen its station and queue line refurbished during the construction of the new area.

That's good. Although I hated Dæmonen it's popular so it's good if the station and queue stairs are brought up to the more modern, better themed standards of the rest of the park. Curious to see what Hotel Hikari is, obviously Tyfonens Øje is the SBF Rotor, so that one is clear.

Seeing the track of Dæmonen twist up above and around the area when walking around should be really cool!

Has this been said somewhere? It could be the Intamin surfrider.

If I've understood right the Surfrider isn't gonna be part of this new area, the new area is under the Dæmonen coaster while the new Intamin is going in the vague Middle-Eastern area between the S&S tower and Kamelen, like this

Also that new area is opening this year, so the Surfrider would already be built if it was to still open this year. I did notice though that someone on RCDB has thought the same as you and there the Surfrider is listed as Typhoon Eye. Whoopsie. Also the page Cookie linked says:

Japanese typhoons are known for their immense power – and in The Typhoons Eye, you get a taste of that power for yourself. Climb aboard as centrifugal force takes hold, pinning you to the wall as all sense of gravity disappears and the ride spins faster and faster. A wild Hikari experience – and the only one of its kind in Scandinavia.

We were at Tivoli yesterday and the area had a „soft-opening“. The new shops and restaurants were open. It looked pretty finished except for a few cables. I cannot say if it was the first day or not. The area opened from 4 pm. Here some impressions

.

At night the area is really nice.

The area that is marked as „exciting news coming in 2026“ is a construction site. It is located next to Daemonen and Fata Morgana.

The construction for the coaster hasn’t started in any way as the mini-drop-tower is still in operation. But I am not sure if the coaster isn’t being built in the area next to Fata Morgana. But for sure the coaster will be integrated into the oriental area of the park.

Looking at the area, it's safe to presume that the mini drop tower will be removed from it's current location.

I have a feeling a relocation is on the cards and it'll be either in Hikari, somewhere in it's current area or another area in the park i.e. area by Milky Way Express

I hate it and I love it at the same time.

Tivoli isn't really a rides park with the exception of the Flying Trunk and Rutschebanan, so honestly they could slap an SLC here and I wouldn't care. As weeby as it is, it does look like a nice area to be in and that's what Tivoli is all about.

Love the new TLC to the buildings. While I love the layout and placement of Daemonen, I recall the Japanese area feeling rather dingy and unremarkable. I hope the new lights package on these buildings adds to further visual pop at night!
