Technically, it was Twisted Timbers in June 2018. However, I was 9 at the time, and I don't have many vivid memories of my ride on it (in fact, for the longest time, Dominator was my favorite ride at the park, hah!) From what I CAN recall, Fury 325 was definitely my first true airtime...
Thanks to kick-ass single-rider lines, ended up riding Griffon @ BGW 8 times that day. 4 times back-to-back at the end of the day in about an hour period. Best hour of my LIFE. Also rode Apollo's Chariot 5 times back-to-back that same day, once again thanks to single-rider lines. All parks need...
I think it depends on the coaster. Like a RMC or B&M Hyper, yeah go ham. But for rides like Arrows or some old-school B&Ms (looking at you Alpengeist) I prefer to hold on and brace.
Now, I've been to countless parks with my cameras before, and I have fun every time. It's how I express who I am. I bring my Nikon z30, my camera bag with stuff like batteries, my shotgun mic, tripod, etc, and just do my thing. (quick little plug :) ThatCoasterGeek )
HOWEVER, on trips where I...
Forgive me if this question has already been answered, but do we think we will ever get some good on-ride footage? I've heard that Saudi is VERY strict when it comes to cameras, and I imagine that they would obviously have a very strict loose article policy in the park as a whole. Even...
You don't have to have 500 credits or something to be an enthusiast. I only have 33, but my knowledge and passion for coasters is beyond understanding.
Always wanted to tell this story. It's pretty neat!
So basically, we went to BGW in July 2013, I was only 4 at the time, but I have vivid memories just looking at these steel beasts and being so fasicnated by them! I remember going home, and on our family iPad, I would watch YouTube videos on...
All great points! I'm currently 16, will be 16 next summer. And the reason I said one or the other is because I was unsure on what my family would do personally, as I am yet to 100% make my own decisions heh. But I saw that you basically get a Six Flags season pass as a perk of working. And with...
This is sad, but here we go.
Park Visits: Busch Gardens Williamsburg x1

CC After: 33 :(
Favorite Ride of the Year: Griffon
Least Favorite Ride of the Year: InvadR
Favorite Experience: Getting to record and be myself at BGW, and marathoning both Apollo's Chariot & Griffon...
So I have a dilemma for the summer of 2025. I am in the state of NC, we have friends that live in Elmont, VA, just 15 mins south of Kings Dominion. We have talked about me living with them, and working at KD for the summer, which sounds AWESOME! However, we have also talked about going to Cedar...
Here's the thing. I like the name, I think it sounds cool, and it fits with the theme of Jungle X-Pedition, but if only this was not an hour away from Pantheon. And I think they should've made the supports for the lift black as well. Looks kinda odd being orange. Other than that, I'm happy! When...
I've been on 2 Intamins, Pantheon & Intimidator 305. Pantheon is my #4 and I305 is my #1. So of course, I305 is my favorite Intamin. The forces, the airtime, just the whole ride experience and theme makes this better than any coaster I've ever been on!
