If you want a ride where that isn't the case, Walibi Holland is two hours down the road.
With the quality of storytelling at Efteling and their tendency to absolutely deliver on building a good attraction with stellar theming, I would, with open arms, accept a shorter ride experience so that...
The Majaland parks in Poland will be renamed to "Episodia" in early 2027, as non-Studio 100 characters continue to join the parks.

This almost entirely AI generated announcement video doesn't really inspire much hope in what they will do...
Opening this weekend.

This quirky little website allows you to have diagrams of everywhere you've travelled by plane.
Here's mine:

I don't really keep track of seat positions, airline registration numbers or types of aircraft, but this data is still pretty cool.
I've still...
Parc des Combes' new Wave Twister is delayed to 2027 due to alignment issues with the track.
Meanwhile, the existing Wave Twister at Adventureland is closed indefinitely after stalling on the turn with riders (the park has gone on to state that they do not know why this happened).
Thanks for the input. I'm not sure what to put for Hurakan Condor or Shambhala due to conflicting situations (which I've now clarified in the original post). So I'll leave their small notes in.
Impressive how much the tunnel adds to the layout. I'm a huge fan.
The "two-stage drop into a tunnel with an increase in banking at the halfway point" gimmick is one of my favourite things that any coaster can do. I wish I saw it more. Could be a real contender for my favourite family boomerang.
I wouldn't believe a single one right now. In the case of "brand new $10 million coaster that's #8 in the world is on borrowed time", rumours are going to go absolutely haywire. Kings Island could get it, Michigan's Adventure could get it, Parks & Games Resort in a small Brazilian village could...
Going somewhere slightly different and saying Swarm at Thorpe Park.
It's not the turn over the lake being more intense than anything else, I'm talking theming.
Is Swarm maybe the most realistic depiction of an apocalyptic disaster that we have in a theme park? The realistic news reports of...
The main thing that I think of is when we choose for a generic fast food chain when abroad.
It's nice to do it every once in a while to discover cultural differences between the same chain in different countries. Specifically McDonald's, where some places have chicken wings and others have a...
Bobbejaanland backed down from their glasses policies.
Drayton Manor has banned glasses.
An amendment was made to the original post to also include parks that DO allow glasses on ALL rides with a strap. So we know for future.
It feels weird because the ride I'm thinking about the most is Hurricane. I've only been on a couple of Milers, but that's enough for me to think that those are a very special genre of ride.
If ArieForce One doesn't get relocated, unlike Hurricane we are going to see rides like that pop up again...
They have said that they want to close Flumeride in the same year the waterpark opens. It makes sense for this to be a replacement of that ride, but if it was, surely we would've seen something like this publicised before the fire.
