How smooth are Wildfire and Helix (Sweden)

Helix has a very slight vibration at most in some parts. Overall, it's a smooth ride. Wildfire was running very smoothly last time I rode it in 2023, so I wouldn't worry about that either.

Another China Trip - Part 5: Cappy Valley Wuhan & Extras

I definitely liked the one in South Korea better than the original at Luna Park; it tracked better overall. Still, even the original is overhated I think, they're decent rides.

    Your worst spite

Yeah I'm in a similar boat. I planned a visit based on a projected 24th May opening and now sadly I'll be showing up about a week too early. Hard to change my visit date as it's part of a much larger road trip and it's a bit out of the way from other places on the trip. Definitely...

    The Best Zero G Stall

I'm personally missing West Coaster Racers, Wonder Woman, and AlpenFury, but out of the rest: Voltron. The ability to experience the element on wing seats makes it; particularly on the right wing. As well as the usual excellent airtime/hangtime combo, the laterals try to basically rip you in...

    Top 10(ish): 2026 Edition - page 132

Only two new additions to my top 50 this year, but I got to ride a lot of old favourites (see italicised), particularly in North America. I'm confident it would've been three new additions if I hadn't missed AlpenFury by a week. Also, Voyage jumped into the #1 spot (from #2), unseating I305...

    Rank the Hersheypark coasters

I visited Hersheypark in 2014 and 2023. 1. Wildcat's Revenge - Absolutely brilliant. Loved the harsh lateral moments in particular. My 2nd favourite RMC behind Steel Vengeance, and my #6 overall. 2. Skyrush - Finally learnt a way I could ride it comfortably in 2023, and then they go and...

    Vekoma SLC's - Europe Only

There is definitely some variation in quality between them. I haven't found them all to be dreadful, but most are at least a bit unpleasant. I genuinely like Kumali. I think it rides well and has a nice layout (albeit short) with good inversions. Of the standard SLCs in Europe, I enjoy Roller...

Voltron Nevera - Europa Park Queue / Boarding / Pre-launch Wait times maxed out at 15 minutes for me as I went midweek during EP’s winter event and outside of Christmas holidays. Therefore, I never had to spend much time in line, but I particularly enjoyed when the tesla coils on the ceiling...

Just finished up two fantastic days at Europa Park’s winter event, so I can finally post my end-of-year rankings. Some fantastic coasters here from my big Japan trip in April and a few smaller Europe trips, as well as a new crown jewel for the UK (at last!). Intimidator 305 - Kings Dominion...

    Battle of the best inverts

Yeah I'd agree Monster is better than both Nemesis and Montu, as ugly as it looks. It's ridiculously intense. Katun still just edges it out as my favourite invert mind. But in the Nemesis v Montu debate, I'd go Nemesis, for its tighter and overall better package of elements. Montu stands out...

Kentucky Rumbler...elite airtime or mid GCI

I've only visited Beech Bend once, back in 2019. Can't say I was that impressed with Rumbler. It wasn't unpleasant but the tracking seemed poor and awkward at points and took away from the 'fluid' experience I've found on most other GCIs. Of the GCIs I've done that are still operational, the...

    Best Coaster in Europe

Seems to be far from a popular opinion nowadays, but EGF is still the best for me (though I am perhaps due a re-ride). My top 10 in Europe (with placement in my overall rankings in brackets): 1. Expedition GeForce (#5) 2. Untamed (#7) 3. Ride to Happiness (#8) 4. Hyperion (#10) 5. Shambhala...
