Emerald Park Scoop for 2026. I saw significant construction from the Flight School lift hill on the site ahead of it (it's outside Dino Dash)
Footers, Ops Cabins and the Swing Clearance Hole is in. Looked suspiciously like an ART Engineering Wild Swing. Couldn't get a clear photo as the...
Possibly although I'm sure it would be a flat ride or a viewing gallery
I'm pretty certain it's the trough and the drawing is for the coaster portion of the ride.
It looks like this is for the coaster portion of the ride with the rest of the cleared site being the trough.
Unless the site is for something else? But the layout shown is very compact compared to other water coasters
Speaking about Bling/Turbulence, this creator has done a video about the history of the ride (so far) which was very interesting and celebrating the ride during it's life, especially with the Doctor Who music backing it up 😆
There is some interesting theories about what happened to it and what...
I honestly am lost for words how much of a scandal the Alton Towers public transport issue is.
The UK's most popular theme park is the most difficult to get to in Europe without a car.
I am surprised the press hasn't picked up on this yet to be honest... Alton Towers is the UK's least...
This is my worst coasters I've done so far

215. Iron Claw - Movie Park Germany
216. Cobra - Walibi Belgium
217. Viking - Energylandia
218. Euro Coaster - Hyde Park Winter Wonderland
219. Vampire - Walibi Belgium
220. Goudurix - Parc Asterix

Ride to Happiness and Anubis on my first visit to Plopsaland Belgium due to very high winds.
More than made up on my second visit to the park weeks later.
Looks like Crealy have revealed their inverting flat ride, it's a Zamperla Air Race called Rotor.
That is alongside Pirates Plummet which is a SBF Visa Drop Tower which is heavily rumoured to be Magma at Paultons Park. A wild card is Skyraker at Flambards...
The thing with the Ultimate is that there would've come a point where something needed to happen.
The best case scenario would've likely been getting RMC, GCI or maybe Gravity Group to retrack and overhaul the ride.
The space does lend itself very well to the UK's tallest and fastest wooden coaster.
The height and speed record is lower since Megafobia closed so I can imagine it'd be very easy to claim the record. Even if the height is 25m and 50mph.
It is wasted space considering they run the ride for...
I'd imagine this could be fantastic for both Fantasy Island and Lightwater Valley and could enable Mellors to go with more permanent coasters and rides for the parks to support the rotating line up of travelling rides every year that seems to be at Fantasy Island in recent years.
Might give them incentive to get in touch with a company like Vekoma or Gerstlauer to build a headliner or two for Lightwater Valley and also Fantasy Island too
If they could get RMC to build a modern equivalent of the Ultimate, that would be nuts but one can dream 💭
I'm hoping so too, hearing that the leaks prior to Valgard's reveal said it is just the one ride.
I definitely think if anything it'll be a thrill ride on a similar scale to Cyclonator to complement Drakon or that it will be a family ride on a similar scale to Vild Swing.
Considering that for...
For me, I was hoping for a clone of Formula at Energylandia as this would've been perfect for what Paultons were looking to achieve with Drakon
That combined with a clone of Viking Voyage at Emerald Park and it would've been a fantastic area
The Wild Swing definitely is a solid addition...
I'll update rides I've done on Opening Season with this and last year's ones for me.
2024:
Hyperia - Thorpe Park
Voltron Nevera - Europa Park
Alpenexpress Enzian (2024) - Europa Park
Gold Rush - Drayton Manor
2025:
Wiener Looping - Wiener Prater
YoY - Walibi Holland
Mecalodon - Walibi...
Mellors own a travelling looping Schwarzkopf that has been travelling the Middle East, it was Slagharens
I am being very optimistic but that could be fantastic to bring over to Lightwater Valley
https://coasterpedia.net/wiki/Looping_Star_(Mellors_Group)
I don't see it happening at all but it...
It's interesting to see Leolandia getting a second spinner when they have a spinning wild mouse.
I wonder if this will go after the Sierra Sidewinder clone opens
Hmm... I can imagine Paultons Park being Herschend's breakthrough in the European Market if this ever happens.
I'd say this fits into the Herschend target market well.
