When you talk about their fairytales and darkrides, you are 100% right.
Dance Macabre is their first fully themed thrillrides. All other flatrides aren't that great.
And I won't talk about their current coaster lineup. They are all way too short in track length.
There are rumors about Fun Spot Atlanta closing permanently before the end of the year.
All rides and buildings will be demolished. What will happen with Arie Force One?

Nemesis in 2008
Shambhala in 2017
Helix in 2018
Wildfire in 2018

Up till now, I've only done all European Dive Machines and Sheikra.
Sheikra and the original Oblivion are still my favorites. Krake is to short, Baron only has great theming and the Italian Oblivion, I don't know even after more than 10 years.
Valkyria is the best smaller model.
A little update for my list.
I have forgotten to include some credit's:
1986 - Black Hole; Avonturenpark Hellendoorn
1986 - Marienkäferbahn; Fort Fun
1995 - Familien-Achterbahn; Eifelpark
1996 - Rioolrat (new); Avonturenpark Hellendoorn
2001 - Mine Train; Slagharen Themepark & Resort
2001 -...
I've only done Wildfire, Taiga, Zadra, Batman: Gotham City Escape and YoY
Wildfire and Zadra have the best zero-G stall and YoY the worst.
Toutatis, Hyperia and Voltron are on my to-do list
Hmmm the replacement will be a new family rollercoaster................................
So I am sure it will be a new spinning coaster because Europa Park already has all other Mack family coasters in their lineup.
But will this new spinner be a free spinning model or a controlled spinning one...
Yes I understand your concerns about this. But that's the major problem of the PortAventura resort, they don't have many options to expand the park, because there's only free space left behind China and Polynesia
When PortAventrura has been at least years IAAPA, because they are interested in a new ride which can be a coaster, I think they would have talked with many different companies and not only Mack Rides.
