It's just unusual for a forum staff member to be so hostile and I'm sure there are many readers/lurkers that might pop out of nowhere to engage in the conversation if it felt more welcoming. Thanks for the tip, I'll hide your posts and continue lurking.
OK, whatever you think it is, it comes across as rude and unfriendly. I read a post the other day where you were complaining about the overuse of ellipses. That's not just quick posting, it's being pissy for no reason.
It doesn't make me feel like posting much so I guess it has the same...
Great news. Hopefully the ride will get some of its excitement back soon.
As a casual reader of this forum, I have to say that your posts come across as rude and unfriendly. It's really not surprising that the forums are as quiet as they are these days.
You didn't mention Pendulum? Did you have a go? It's my favourite addition... the extreme thrill Dreamland was missing, in my opinion!
Any idea why the Scenic was down? It was running well last Saturday so hopefully it's nothing too serious.
The drop tower cycle looks a bit unusual off ride...
I did indeed! But at least it’s open now.
I’m back there on Saturday night to see Orbital and the drop tower is right next to the stage, so I'll hopefully get on then.
The LED light package on the tower looks fab.
Drop tower wasn't open yesterday, it's apparently being signed off today though.
We rode Pendulum, Air Race and Endeavour (Dreamcatcher) yesterday. All great additions but Pendulum is bloody awesome. Very intense and lots of fun.
Jesus... that is ****ing horrible.
My jaw literally dropped while reading that. If it's accurate, the board members responsible need long sentences.
The poor guy in the raft behind sitting there while that's happened to his wife in front. It's incomprehensible.
The first new ride to be delivered is the 1920's fully restored caterpillar, with new canopy. Their next restoration project is the Junior Whip which will be starting soon.
The park already has a decent line up of restored/vintage rides including the speedway, zodiac jets, waltzer, gallopers...
I think you are correct. I imagine that they have realised that visitors to the park in December will be predominantly local (Kent) so target market for membership. At the same time offering a great new community space for Christmas events.
Memberships are really good value, I got mine last...
