^^Ugh, I give up lol. Lots of harsh people on here. It'd be nice to be able to say something on here without having someone else make you feel like a complete a**. Hope your comment made you feel a little better about yourself.
That expression has more than one meaning. "Dropped the ball" can mean failing at something. These leaked renderings failed in fullfilling my expectations for what CP may be getting. Like some others on here, I was hoping for an RMC or a new wooden coaster. Of course having something in the...
Yes, dropped the ball in regards to WHAT I WOULD HAVE LIKED/EXPECTED THE PARK TO GET. There's always someone on here at the ready to jump down someone's throat. Geesh.
^ I have ridden both Griffon and Sheikra...I really don't think they're anything special apart from a great first drop. & obviously I know parks don't take into consideration what enthusiasts think, but as enthusiats we are allowed to have an opinion on what we think is good and what is not so...
^ I'm really hoping it is a deliberate fake leak also...but with them taking it even farther with the actual manufactured track pieces being a hoax as well. It may seem far-fetched, but it is something I could see CP doing nowadays; especially with the recent boom of social media these past few...
Man, that doesn't look exciting at all. Keeping my fingers crossed on this one. I never thought CP could drop the ball on a new addition (mainly a new coaster addition), but damn..if all of these layout renderings are indeed true..the ball is definitely dropped on this one CP.
Basically, if...
Glad I'm not the only one who thinks a Dive Machine could possibly be just meh for Cedar Point. Personally I would love a new wooden coaster, but I know that's very unlikely. I feel like a solid wooden coaster would really even out the lineup...& no, Blue Streak is not good enough to be...
What I'm trying to get at is that I think a dive coaster is a weak choice for CP. There are many more options they could go with that I think are a lot better. Dive coasters just don't get me excited as much as other coasters do.
As much as I hate to say it, I feel like this coaster being built for CP (if in fact it turns out to be a dive coaster) will be a let down compared to everything else being built for next season. The 4 RMCs will poop all over everything. Valravn or whatever it will be named will definitely have...
SO glad I didn't make the trip to Dollywood this year. I could have stopped by on the way back from SFOG a few weeks ago, but decided against it as I was pressed for time. This coaster alone will be worth the trip. Hell, all it could be is that quad down and I'd be happy. That element is going...
Anyone plan on going to CP the day of the announcement? I will be there along with my girlfriend. I know there was a Live just this past weekend, but it'd be cool if some other CF'ers were in attendance!
Don't have an RMC or Mack under my belt....yet, but Fury 325 is INCREDIBLE. Relentless speed and the airtime...oh my lord the airtime is just incredible.
Re: Lake Compounce 2016
I've been on Tempesto and I didn't think it was anything special. It felt more like a gimmick than anything. Not sure why these are so trendy right now as the capacity is low and the ride time is so short.
But.. it's probably a good move for Lake Compounce.
I love coasters that can pull off a good night ride. Not many can do it in my opinion.
My top three, with #1 being the best:
1. The Beast- Nothing beats speeding through the woods and then flying through the tunnels hearing the screeching of the wheels and the screams echoing around you...
