I've been trying to decipher / translate what happened. Some reports suggest the person fainted, others suggest they slipped out. Have also seen some say someone entered the ride area and was hit, but that seems to be people lying for clicks.
There was an incident at Batman Gotham City Escape at Parque Warner Madrid. The ride is currently closed.

Not clear what has happened but it seems like someone has been seriously injured. This article suggests the person has broken both...
Wouldn't call it obvious when the first time I've considered that is after you've said it.
My bigger thing is that the Wildwood Grove area felt very nature-based with a hint of whimsy and magic. The concept art for the interior seems to match that. So that exterior just doesn't quite fit with...
I still maintain that the massive warehouse-look of the building doesn't fit in with the area the ride is in, and I'm confused how it fits in with the ride's story. But I'd rather that than an even lesser themed inside.
There's a couple of very short on ride clips sprinkled throughout this...
One of the trains on Minifigure Speedway at Legoland Billund (which opened earlier this year) stalled last week, resulting in a 3 hour long evacuation with local fire services. No injuries or issues.
This video shows that one set of wheels seem to have dislodged from the track...
Round Off
So after that day at Dollywood, that bought me to Sunday, and my flight home. That involved a 4 hour drive back to Atlanta.
Now I did have a SFOG pass and in theory could have squeezed an hour or two there for free if I wanted, or I could have spent out on a few extra laps on AF1, but...
It doesn't seem like we have a thread for the Flying Theatre, so I'll post this here: https://www.facebook.com/themeparkmagic1/posts/pfbid02mkrzjo4JSfBFQ1xMyufk8pEyNt15VKELk8bnKvhQa22VmG7UhkcNDijKSAwiMV28l
The name seems to have changed and will come with several other things in the plaza by...
Day 2 - Dollywood
Now Dollywood has been a bucket list park for me for...almost 20 years. So when I was flying into Atlanta, and Dollywood was a mere 4 hours away, I simply had to do it. I was stoked that the park had amazing opening hours for my day, 10am-9.30pm, but gutted to miss out on the...
MovieLand Italy will be introducing three new experiences for 2027, which will include two changes to existing attractions to increase capacity:

Return to Pangea II
Pangea is the attraction where guests drive their own jeep around a track and...
If I had a penny for every US theme park that teased a new ride using a dressed up container this year, I'd have two pennies.
Which isn't a lot, but it's weird it's happened twice.
I'm not surprised by this. In fact, I'm surprised so many people on social media think something will happen quickly.
It was barely a month ago that the closure was announced. I'm sure across the industry there was some internals rumblings a bit before then. Even then, nothing leaked until a...
Day 1 - Six Flags Over Georgia
With SFOG not opening until 11, and my hotel being pretty close by, I was able to have a decent lie in and get some much-needed sleep. I also had my first taste of an Ihop, grabbing some delicious pancakes for breakfast.
Now as mentioned, there were threats of...
So with Fun Spot Atlanta closing down, and more specifically ArieForce One potentially going down forever, I made the decision to do a last-minute state-side trip. I'd been loosely toying with the idea of a US trip next year, so I already had some funds set aside for such a trip, but not as much...
Following a trip to Georgia and Tennessee, my Top 10% has seen a few new additions...

I was at the park on Saturday. Not much has changed visually since the above photos, but just to add a couple more to the mix...
(Unsure why second image has rotated...)
One thing that struck me is the show building does look like a giant warehouse. Maybe they'll add shrubbery/trees/etc...
