It was less a case of being broken and linked to the noise injunction too as the combination of the longer hold and the audio was said to increase screams, this is a choice to revert the ride to its original form. There's already a thread to be negative, I don't see what's wrong with celebrating...
Wicker Man was done by Bradley Wynne I believe, who now works for Universal.
I think John Burton did.. Walking Dead, Hyperia, Ghost Train (Rise of the Demon reinvention), Black Mirror, World of Jumanji & Mandril Mayhem, Croc Drop & Wolf Legend, Colossos: Kampf der Giganten, Gangsta Granny...
Isnt that a fairly standard price?
Efteling €15
Europa €10
Port Aventura €15
Disneyland Paris €30
Parc Asterix €20
Plopsaland €15
I know that public transport to the park isn't great. But singling out Alton when it pretty much matches the industry standard parking fee (plus it's £13 when booked...
TBH, Merlin hadn't changed their brand identity in a long time... if ever? And if you look at the logo in isolation it is quite dated, the serif font, the "M" swoosh, it doesn't translate or scale down and doesn't look modern at all.
I'm surprised there's any negativity to a new logo...
I do wonder if the ride is capable of valleying on any of the elements at the top of the cliff, I know they're all very small and it's designed to make it round if it manages to pass the tallest part. But some strong winds might make it happen, do the operators have to take a bus up to the top...
Ah I see you're new here. "Looks slow" is a long standing tradition here for the first full circuit testing video.
SIDE NOTE: Has CF ever made "Looks slow" merch?
Looks slow
(Think this is my first looks slow post, do I get points..?)
That last roll reminds me of Taiga's finale which is great. Infact the whole ride has a Taiga feel about it, albeit some more graceful movements because of the trains. RtH+Taiga.
I think I sit on the other side, I prefer this layout alot to most recent B&Ms. I like how tight it is and some of the aesthetic choices with the placement of the elements on the skyline, Especially the overbank towards the end perfectly framing the first drop. I just hope it rides well!
This has to be the chunkiest B&M track piece I've seen. Really looking forward to seeing the scale of this. Although I imagine it might end up being a disappointingly short ride with how much steel is needed to account for the speeds of a 300ft coaster mixed with the size of the track. It's the...
I love Loup-Garou as is, but if they do this area well and RMC do a good layout this park will be so well rounded out. They have loads of land to play with, and a New Orleans or Carnival theme allows for a lot of colour and spectacle, I'm excited.
It looks like the best ride to compare this to is the most recent Euro-Fighter, Vindfald.
Which doesn't fill me with an awful lot of faith. It really bumps around the track, the fact the camera is mounted here shows how shakey it is. Did all the manufacturers just give up on trying to improve...
I totally understand the arguement that Warner Bros Studios Tour has exclusivity rights and they wouldn't want an attraction with the HP IP so closeby. BUT I do think there's another reason for there not to be a HP land at this park.
The lands at Florida and the other Universal parks are...
