Karl's - German operating theme park chain

I've only been to one of them so far but it was a really nice place to visit and I'm not surprised they keep expanding, a solid family day out. I really like the aesthetics of their parks too. Let's hope the expansion of the company into more locations doesn't hurt the existing sites which seems...

    Gigs 'n' Tours

The Albert Hall looks like a beautiful venue! I always feel like I go to a lot of gigs and then I see your round ups lol. I've booked to go see Dominion later in the year, after seeing your recommendation I realised Spotify had been slowly feeding me their tracks and it turns out they're right...

    Efteling| Missie Luminar | Launched Suspended Coaster | 2029

Very excited about this new addition. The location will completely change how approaching the park will feel as I imagine we'll be able to see the outdoor track darting through the trees to the right of the entrance building. I look forward to seeing this one come together but at the moment 2029...

Hansa Park | Cornwall Coaster | Gerstlauer Family Coaster | 2026

It wouldn't be a Hansa Park addition without the theming being finished a year or two after opening.

Tokyo DisneySea teasing major overhaul to Port Discovery; Aquatopia closing on September 14th, 2026

It'll be sad to see Aquatopia go, it's such a quirky little ride (and a nice way to cool down when it's hot). I was reading that the OLC has their shareholder meeting within the next week so hopefully we'll get more information on what could be replacing it soon.

    "Now Showing"

I saw a bunch of movies in the past week. Splitsville was a fun little comedy, there's a really great fight sequence which goes on so much longer than you'd expect and gets some good chuckles. Sometimes the choices the characters make are frustrating but there's enough humour to tolerate those...

    Parc Astérix | Unknown | Intamin Multi-Dimension | 2028

Yep, lots going on in the next few years. Androland has another article for the changes coming to the park up till 2028 - Link The wave swinger, dingy boat ride and the circus restaurant are becoming part of the Egypt area for next year. The Greek area is getting a new restaurant and some...

    Parc Astérix | Unknown | Intamin Multi-Dimension | 2028

Really excited for this area re-development. Like others have already said, Uncharted at Port Aventura is great but needed to be themed inside, this totally corrects that mistake. I love all the fun puns and stories in the theming at Asterix and from the concept art I can already tell the...

    Greenland | Japan | Hybrid coaster | 202?

Togo pipelines are so good, it's a shame to see another one bite the dust. Hard to tell from that pic but I assume this is going to the scrapheap rather than be relocated? Interesting to see this park is going to invest in a new coaster though, excited to see what they get.

    New attractions at Paultons Park

I imagine this is what the Scorpion Express replacement is going to address but it is weird now you point that out! Exciting to see so much going on under Cobra, interacting with all those supports could be really fun.

Futuroscope | Mission Bermuda | Mack Rocking Boat Ride | 2025

Hmm yeah that sudden stop after the drop looks weird - possibly a safety test rather than real run through? That rapids section still looks wild, this whole attraction is such a drastic addition for the park, interesting it's not opening until June.

Puy du Fou proposing UK theme park near Bicester

The plans look fantastic and well thought out. A little sad that what looks like a clone of the Coliseum show isn't until phase 7 because that thing is ridiculous. Overall is seems to be copying a fair amount from the French park which is fine (shows are great, I just hope the scripts will be...

    Phantasialand Expansion Planning Procedure Commences

I love a Phantasialand construction site, who knows what we'll see built - could be anything. Seeing as its close to their neighbours I'm guessing either a replacement flat ride or a small restaurant. Have there been any rumours circulating yet?

Puy du Fou proposing UK theme park near Bicester

Ah ok, that's good to know. I did see while grabbing the site link that they've already opened a Viking area as a pre-show activity. Maybe I'll return once the expansion opens.

Puy du Fou proposing UK theme park near Bicester

Interesting, they already have a site with a show that runs during the Summer up near Newcastle called Kynren. The original plans were to slowly expand this site into a full day park but I don't think this has really happened to the extent they originally proposed. It's mostly the big night time...

Universal's Epic Universe | Orlando USA | Theme Park

I love a dueling coaster and this looks like one of the best, that looks so well timed! Looks like a decent length with plenty of air time moments, excited to ride this one day.

    New attractions at Paultons Park

How did I miss this news? A dark ride of any sort is what Paultons was lacking so this sounds like a great addition. Something similar to Popcorns Revenge would be a great fit.

    Colossus Partial Retrack (Thorpe Park)

Wow, looks like they're putting in a lot of effort sprucing things up. Love the new painted signs around Stealth.

Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man at Universal Studios Japan closing January 2024

Universal made a deal for the Japanese park with the Pokemon Company some years back (press release) and we've been patiently waiting for some sort of attraction announcement since. The same year the deal was made the characters started appearing in parades. The rumours are that Lost Continent...

Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man at Universal Studios Japan closing January 2024

Sad this is gone. The rumour mill seems to suggest it's going to make way for a new Pokemon attraction, using the same building and layout but potentially new ride vehicles. It'll be interesting to see what happens, hopefully they'll reveal more soon now that its closed.
