Apologies for the thread bump, but park have just announced Wilde Hilde is closing in November. Glad to have rode it 2 years ago, but really not as good as it looks. Will be interesting to see what they replace it with though. Source: Park FB page

Not sure if it's been mentioned anywhere yet but the fountains seem to be at full force now. Rode it today and almost got a fountain direct into my face. Had to duck so that it sprayed my head instead. Also, the path below also gets a good soaking from the rotating gondola hitting the fountains...

My theory for pay-per-ride places (inc. travelling fairs) is to always go when its quiet. While you may have to wait for a minimum number of riders, you will often get a longer cycle when it's quiet.
