The combination of record breaking and gerstlauer, ending up producing a great top 20 ride is probably not going to happen. Although I was positively surprised by gold rush at slagharen. Solid fun ride imo. And there are quite a lot of karnan fans that think this is the greatest german ride. But...

That was my only minor concern regarding the layout, but I think it will match with the overall experience, where more floaty airtime is something for other models.

In continuation of the latter, i would agree that the social media marketing campaign have been a bit odd. Normally parks tease with a logo, name, and slowly reveal details. Especially since its the biggest investment of the parks history (close to 100m'dkk)

Indeed a coaster that sets some new standards for DK, and i'm thrilled. Not much to complain about :)

From interviews and local articles they want a broad selection, which also is targeted at families with older children in their teens. They have a main focus on families at all ages, with a differentiated marketing. Not sure what the future holds.

Maybe :) Its def interferring with their marketing as Denmarks biggest coasters. So will they switch their branding to something different or step up ??

Djurs pre-covid had a coaster mentioned in their application for the municipality originally set for 2021 and 2023. And their equity pre-covid was approx 6 times bigger then Fårup. So it might be a couple of years down the line, but not unrealistic.

Somehow I had the feeling since Piraten in Djurs sommerland, that they took the «big brother» role and wanted to show they could do bigger and better. And they market themselves as Denmarks biggest coasters. So maybe they will try and surpass Fårups new coaster stats next time. I don't quite...

Yes, this is what i am refering too, see above. From what i reed, there are no more facts to add. Rest is speculations. But we can rule out a lech clone and speculate about a custom layout based on models like top gun, hyper space warp etc.

The construction and landscaping is set to 14 months, so one could expect a staggered opening sometime in june 22. But not sure this is the potential award winning coaster, but perhaps should be seen as a seperate project. I will go there in 3-4 weeks, and take a peep..

Yeah, there are not many in europe, and decent fun, but a Lech clone or something of similar caliber would still be (way) higher on my wishlist
