I think its quite simple when looking at why the park wanted these trains as opposed to the other ones ...
just because its a different thing.
Why would you choose the same trains when you had the opportunity to use something different?
It just seems very simple to me.
Im really sure that it had...
Well to be honest, it is kinda hard to pick up sarcasm when you're not personally familiar with people and its on the internet.
In coastercrazy's defense, he did ask whether or not tks was being sarcastic....
But obviously it will fit in the trench, theyre going to do all the fly through tests...
^ Do you mean the steel beams that connect each car?
I think they look fine ..
Raptor's ones are covered, but with the whole eagle theme, I think the trains may have looked slightly funny if they tried to cover up those beams ......
There has been a nice update from theme park review ...
http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/vi ... 5#p1139975
Its mainly just showing the track from interesting places,
BUT
the trains (at least 1), are unwrapped and assembled! They look pretty cool, but different from what I imagined.
^ Very true.
I guess what we call it or think of it doesnt really matter, because its always the park and manufacturers that are coming up with the terms and classifications ...
^ I cant see those photos links you posted .... there's no link from the image.
And as much as carpark sort of coasters can be a killjoy, I've always thought that it makes for a spectacular entrance and skyline effect!!!
^ Well, perhaps its both?
Wing riders can be any sort of style (X2, Furius Baco) .... one is a 4th dimension coaster, and the other is a launched accelerator.
Remember that there arent that many wing riders in the world and they've only started popping up more since B&M built Raptor at...
Ho ho!
That looks amazing!
Plus, there also seems to be a really good head chopper effect as the hammerhead crosses over itself in the beginning and end parts of the hammerhead element.
The hammerhead is seriously amazing, and I cant wait to see the train running through it.
Although isn't all...
^ ohh really?
Hm well I was just guessing that Hershey would have to be the ones to find some sort of alternative solution, not the other people who are waiting for the crane so they can use it.
I guess you are probably right though .... if Hershey hadnt finished the lift hill and had to give...
Yes, I assumed that if they havent finished using the crane by the date that it needs to go to someone else, then thats their problem ... theyd have to find another crane ...
I doubt they would just be allowed to have it for longer ....
I mean really, they have taken an awfully long time to do...
Imagine a 40-foot span sort of eagle statue in front of the ride. That would be really sweet.
Finally trains have arrived at the park!
I've never seen trains been delivered like that though!
Probably happens more than I realize and also due to the fact that this is a wing rider ....
Hopefully we...
Well, maybe for whatever reason it'll ride faster and more intense than all the other B&M Hypers ...
These sorts of coasters are incredibly popular though among the public, so whether or not they advertise it as you say as an international-recognition sort of ride, it will be hugely popular...
Well, Im not sure if a coaster 145+ feet would fit in Mall Of America.
The tallest ride there is spongebob and avatar, and they are both around 70 feet tall.
They also both come fairly close to the roof, so I really doubt a 145+ foot coaster would fit in MOA.
That said, it shows just how huge...
Yeah exactly what I was thinking.
A company like Intamin obviously will have safety procedures and methods in place to construct a proper lift hill. Its not like they're new at doing this anyways ... Its going to be perfectly safe.
Personally, I dont think Skyrush looks *that* bad, as again once...
I dont think you're not really going to notice the bolts as much from afar ...
And remember, that once the catwalks go up and the actual track, it will probably cover up alot of the bolts and make the lift hill look much better....
Plus, its only the lift hill that has these 'bolts' and whatnot...
To be honest, I dont think there are enough rides and attractions in HP land to start charging for HP only tickets ...
it needs to grow more and have stuff added to it before that can happen, IMO
That particular photo looks really cool, but I've never found a woodie to be 'pretty' sometimes like a steel coaster can be.
That photo of Troy is a very cool photo though and it looks great.
Wodan (I preferred Mythos alot more), seems to actually look cooler than most GCI's!
I mean you look at...
^ Now that is cool!!
How much will the people in the station be able to see this element?
Like, will the station roof be completely enclosed, partially enclosed, or the way it is now?
Well since when did wooden roller coasters look 'pretty'??
I mean they can look nice, but not 'pretty' like some steel coasters.
Once its done, Im sure it will look better - I wouldnt worry about the look of it, cos in the end it'll look like all the other GCI's, which look great.
