I've experienced deadspin on other Intamin halfpipes too - bummer when you don't get spin, but still a fun ride.

From time to time, rides and attractions require adjustments specific to their individual design. In 2025, we debuted a new type of thrill: Georgia Gold Rusher. This first-of-its-kind, free-spinning coaster provides a combination of high speeds, hills, 360-degree views and exciting water features.

To improve the ride’s performance, availability and reliability, the manufacturer will be making enhancements to the ride’s vehicle. Unfortunately, these enhancements will not be complete until the 2027 season.

If I had to guess, they're probably working to add more spinning and more splashing, since it didn't really spin nor splash after opening.
