If the park haven't released the opening date yet, realistically what did you expect them to respond with?

And that’s the exact reason I think it’s likely this won’t happen, it’ll start construction and then stall because it’s way too ambitious, with little to no demand for the project, like many previous projects have in the past in this region.

I’m not sure I fully agree with this, the length of Wicker Man is mentioned all the time, it’s my main reason why I don’t really rate it and for a lot of my friends outside of the coaster community too.

I still can’t get over how insanely close it gets to those apartments… I’m sure the lower level tenants are thrilled to step onto their balcony and have a roll coaster break run eye level with them. [emoji38]

I’m surprised people are actually impressed with this? The amount of wasted potential is crazy, why is it so short? Absolutely nothing at Thorpe has a decent length to it, I don’t know why I excepted more from Merlin and Thorpe because realistically we should’ve know this was going to be a...

I don’t think the actual ride itself is for Daniel’s Wood Land, it looks like they’re just doing the theming for it.

Nobody is saying the coaster is amazing though, that’s the thing, people are complimenting how brilliant the theming is… And rightly so!

Honest question, why? I can fully understand getting a total like that on a genuinely good scare maze, that isn’t £10 a go, but really why so many times? Surely doing the same scare attraction so many times completely looses any element of surprise, not like Platform has many to begin with…

How can you be underwhelmed by something when you don’t even know what it is?
